2003 CMW Music Week Festival Artists Talent Guide

C.A.A.M.A. (Canadian Association for the Advancement of Music and the Arts) performs many functions for many people. In addition to its usefulness as a marketing vehicle for artists to press, international buyers, labels, and radio, it has always been a market for business people shopping for new talent. In hopes of facilitating this process, we present the C.A.A.M.A. Talent Guide. We asked all the showcasing acts at CMW to fill out a questionnaire and tell us the top 3 things that they were looking for to advance their careers.

Jerrycan
JerryCan was formed by Jeremy Cavan (Guitarist/vocalist) in 1996, with a dream to create energetic music with integrity. In an attempt to make their musical horizons limitless the band took on the genre of “Canadian Core’ which was created purely because it had no definition to it…yet! As the years rolled by, the band developed very much their own sound that they believed captured the rapier wit of Rodney Dangerfield, and the classic sound of the street performers (with distortion added of course) characteristic of small Ontario towns.
