Michael Jerome Browne
Michael Jerome Browne has established himself
as a veritable high priest of traditional American
folk and Roots music. Born in South Bend, Indiana,
he picked up his first instruments, guitar and
harmonica, at the age of nine. Within a couple
of years, he was busking on street corners and
by his early teens he was ‘blowing people
away’ at local coffeehouses.
