Entering The World of Movies
Saturday March 6, 2004 1:45 PM - 2:45 PM
Westin Harbour Castle Hotel

Whether, it's your song, your CD, or yourself as a featured artist or backup performer, there's much more in it for you than exposure. This panel includes a discussion of the many opportunities in the movie world, including extra income with a potential for residuals, often times achieved with a simple phone call. In addition the panel highlights pitfalls to watch out for. The panel includes representation for publishing, "new use" income from your CD, sidelining on camera, featured performances on camera, and addressing some of the issues of major and independent labels.
