Alan Cross

Alan's career in rock radio spans more than twenty-two years and includes fourteen-year stint as an announcer with 102.1 the Edge in Toronto and a three-year run as program director of Y108 in Hamilton. In addition, he's written four books on rock music, produced in-flight audio programming for Air Canada, hosts the nationally-syndicated documentary The Ongoing History of New Music, wrote trivia questions for the Microsoft Network, composed liner notes for more than a dozen CDs, appears as a guest on various TV shows and writes articles for both newspapers and magazines. Alan believes in having a live announcer in the chair 24/7 and HATES the very notion of automation.
