Beverley McKee

Beverley McKee joined VideoFACT, the ground-breaking music video production fund sponsored by MuchMusic, MusiquePlus and MuchMoreMusic, as program director in January, 1997, after stints with Warner/Chappell Music Canada and SOCAN. Hugely passionate about music and with an eye for developing Canadian talent, she maintains an artist-friendly environment at VideoFACT and has been involved in the careers of some of Canada's top directors and musicians. Since joining VideoFACT, she has overseen the expansion of the foundation, which has grown significantly with the launch of MuchMoreMusic, MuchLoud and MuchVibe. She also developed and launched PromoFACT, a fund sponsored exclusively by MuchMoreMusic, which provides production grants towards web sites and EPKs.

Outside of the office, Beverley is an instructor and team coach at S.K.I.F. Toronto Karate and Fitness Institute. She also volunteers in fundraising and communications roles for the Shotokan Karate International Federation (S.K.I.F.) Canadian team.

While attending university in Ottawa in the mid-80s, she was the keyboard player in an independent rock band. She eventually graduated from Carleton University with a B.A. in English Language and Literature.
