Humphrey Kadaner

Humphrey Kadaner joined HMV in July 2003 as the President of HMV North America (HMV Canada Inc/HMV USA LP). Encompassing 100 stores in Canada, and 6 in the U.S, HMV is the leading music retailer and the fastest growing DVD destination in Canada.

Prior to joining HMV, Humphrey held several senior positions in his seven-year tenure at Sony, the most recent being Executive Vice President of Sony Canada and Senior Vice President, Retail Sony Electronics Limited, USA. He has a wealth of knowledge in the retail & hospitality industries as well as a strong understanding of consumer marketing.

Prior to joining Sony in 1996, Humphrey worked at Pepsico Inc. for eight years where he held several key positions. Humphrey helped drive Pizza Hut's market share position from the number three to number one position in Canada.

Humphrey also held brand management marketing positions with Weston Bakeries (George Weston Ltd.) and Bristol Myers Products Canada.
