KEN PRUE is VP Business Development of Tribute Entertainment Media Group. Tribute is Canada's leading publisher/producer of magazines, websites, syndicated web content, TV show and custom promotions dedicated to marketing the movies. Ken also markets Closed Circuit Digital Events and on-line movie ticketing for Tribute. CCDE distributes non-filmic sports and music events to movie theatres digitally. Tribute Tickets offers branded, movie-themed, print-at-home tickets to moviegoers. Prior to joining Tribute Ken held senior sales and marketing positions at Procter & Gamble, Cineplex Odeon and Galaxy Cinemas. In recent years he has been a major innovator of movie theatre design and marketing. At Galaxy Ken pioneered numerous digital events including the first satellite transmission and digital presentation of a feature film. Ken believes on-line ticket transactions will soon predominate and will influence movie release patterns and cinema service offerings.
