Kevin Canning

Kevin Canning has been living in Japan, and working in the Music industry since 1992. Having been primarily involved in live performances, first for an international sound company, and later in production capacities, he maintains a close relationship with major promoters, and is well acquainted with various sound, lighting and band gear companies, and has worked on over a hundred tours and events, throughout Japan. He is also acquainted with major record label personnel from Sony Music, BMG, JVC, Warner Music, Imperial Records, AVEX and other record labels based in Japan, as well as with some radio stations.

Kevin speaks fluent French, English and Japanese (among other languages), and, in his capacity as Cultural Officer in charge of Music promotion at the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo, is dedicated to utilizing his networking, linguistic and negotiating skills to promoting and assisting Canadian Artists and Canadian music in the world's second largest music market, Japan.
