Larry Rosin
Larry Rosin is co-founder and President of Edison Media Research.
He has been involved with media for over 20 years, the last
sixteen in audience research. Rosin has been recognized as
one of the leading thinkers in the field, and advises many
of the world's largest media companies, including AOL/Time
Warner, Sony, Gannett and CBS.
Rosin has served as a media consultant to the U.S. House of
Representatives Democratic Caucus and has presented research
both on Capitol Hill and the White House. He has also addressed
the NAB Conventions in Las Vegas and Europe, the NAB Radio
Show, the R&R Convention, the Country Radio Seminar, the Gavin
Convention, and many others.
Rosin founded Edison Media Research in 1994 and has been a
primary force in building the company into one of the world's
largest and most respected media research companies. Working
with many of the worldís largest media companies, Edison provides
strategic information and analysis designed to increase understanding
of audiences. With media continuing to splinter and becoming
more fractionalized, many media companies have turned to Edison
to position them better within the complicated media landscape.
Edison's experience, understanding, and methodologies have
made it a leader.
Over the last several years, Edison has distinguished itself
within the media research community through several well-received
industry studies on radio, the Internet, and the music industry.
Rosin is a graduate of Princeton University where he majored
in Political Philosophy at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public
and International Affairs. He also received an MBA from the
Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania,
with a concentration in Marketing and Marketing Research.
