Liz Janik

Liz Janik is President of Media Mix Inc., Toronto. The firm offers management consulting and research services to the broadcast and music industries in Canada and in the United States. Janik has extensive experience in launching new stations and in station turn-arounds. She has worked on the evolution of the modern rock, AC and CHR formats. She has programmed stations in Chicago, Buffalo, Detroit and Des Moines. Liz writes for Canadian and American radio industry trade papers. She is presently Chair of the Humber College Radio Advisory Committee and an instructor at Harris Institute for the Music Arts in Toronto Prior to Media Mix, Janik worked with Joint Communications as Senior Programming consultant and in the 80s she was on air at CFNY.
