Sean Ryan

Sean Ryan guides the growth and overall direction of RealNetworksÇ music services team, which is responsible for developing and enhancing the companyÇs offering of digital music products and services, including the award-winning Rhapsody Internet jukebox service and the Music Store & Music Guide available through the company's RealPlayer 10 media player.

Sean joined RealNetworks in 2003 following the acquisition of Listen.com, the online music company that created the Rhapsody music subscription service. During his tenure as Listen.com's CEO, Sean oversaw the company's growth into a leader in the digital music space, from the launch of Rhapsody and subsequent distribution agreements with the countryÇs largest broadband providers to strategic acquisition of music technology companies TuneTo.com and Wired Planet.

Prior to joining Listen, Sean worked for SegaSoft Networks, the GAP, and Chemical Bank. Sean holds a BA from Columbia University and an MBA from UCLA's Anderson Graduate School of Management.
