Ted Boyd
Ted Boyd joined Iceberg Media.com Inc., Canada's leading
Internet Radio Broadcaster, in May of 2000.
Prior to his appointment at Iceberg, Boyd held the position
of President of the e-commerce book retailing company, Indigo
Online.
Before his term at Indigo, he served as Senior Vice-President
of New Media/New Business for advertising agency, Young and
Rubicam Canada, where he provided web strategies and solutions
for clients such as Ford Motor Company of Canada, AT&T Canada,
Whitehall-Robins, Colgate Palmolive, AGF, Citibank and Toronto.com
amongst others.
Prior to joining Y&R, Ted was Director of Interactive Services
for market research firm A.C. Nielsen Canada where he was
responsible for launching a suite of Web audit and measurement
tools, working with clients such as Bell Canada, Southam Newspapers
and The Globe and Mail.
Ted holds an MBA from the University of Toronto and as a founding
member, has served as both President and Chair of the Internet
Advertising Bureau of Canada.
Currently, he serves on the Board, Executive Committee and
as Chair of the Marketing Committee of the Children's Aid
Foundation, the fundraising arm of The Childrenís Aid Society
of Toronto. Ted also recently joined the Board and Executive
Committee of the National Advertising Benevolent Society,
where he also serves as Chair of the Marketing Committee.
