Theme for Canadian Music Week 2005 - The Future Ain't
What It Used To Be!
Think back to the future as it was depicted in our childhood and one question immediately comes to mind - Where the heck is my flying car? When you're still taking out your own garbage without the aid of robots, the future doesn't seem like quite the Buck Rogers experience it was supposed to be. But in other ways, technology is still changing the very fabric of our lives, to an extent that may end up making Star Trek look like Little House On The Prairie.
Always your best insurance against future shock, Canadian Music Week presents the theme The Future Ain't What It Used To Be. It's not sci-fi, and despite our worst fears about the digital piracy - it's not Armageddon either. CMW 2005 will take you directly to the wireless world, one whose impact on our current one could be an extinction level event for the unprepared. For those who embrace it intelligently, it stands to boost efficiencies, free you up creatively and connect you to customers and clients in real-time from anywhere. In short, it could put you at the front of the line for the rewards of progress. See you in the world of tomorrow. And don't forget to check your rocket pack at the door.
Canadian Music Week has a new home for 2005 - The event will
take place at The Fairmont Royal York Toronto Hotel,
March 2 - 5, 2005. Be sure to check our website regularly
for updated information regarding the upcoming Canadian Music
Week!
