Indecency: No Seven Second Delay!
Saturday March 5, 2005 4:15PM
Fairmont Royal York

It all started with Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" last winter, and has now become a swirling-and expensive - vortex of Controversy: decency on the airwaves. How far can a talent go in communicating a thought? If they go too far, how can a radio owner-at best, meet the immensity of fines levied by the regulators- or at worst, put their license in danger? Will legislation being introduced change the decency landscape even more? Will the decency issue force an alteration of music lyrics heard on the radio? How far will this all go before a case is made charging an abridgement of free speech and expression of thought? Join CMW's experts as they tackle these questions and more, providing insight and guidelines you can share with your station on Monday.
