Super Session: "The Future Ain't What It Used To Be" A State Of The Industry Debate
Thursday March 3, 2005 11:00AM
Fairmont Royal York

A blue-chip panel of label and broadcast heads and industry opinion-makers will address this year's theme: The Future Ain't What It Used To Be. Which is to say that yesterday's prediction of music industry Armageddon may have been premature. Now that people are actually paying for downloads (via iTunes and others) and new streams of revenue (ringtones, video game soundtracks, satellite radio) are popping up, is it time to downgrade to an Orange Alert? Or are these just distractions from fundamental problems that still plague our business? This is a no hold-back must-attend, session that is top-rated every year at CMW.

Moderator: Michael McVay, President, McVay Media, Cleveland

Panelists: Steve Herman, CEO North America, The Agency Group, Toronto
