FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Superstar Steve Earle To Speak at
2005 Canadian Music Week
Toronto, ON (January 20, 2005) - Canadian Music Week (CMW) is pleased to announce that the legendary Steve Earle will participate in a celebrity interview for CMW Delegates on Friday, March 4, 2005 at 12:30 PM as part of Canadian Music Week, taking place March 3 - 5 at The Royal York Hotel in downtown Toronto.
As Earle celebrates his 50th birthday this month, his long list
of accolades and achievements are far too many to mention. As an
author, playwright, activist, and music legend, Earle has touched
the lives of millions of people many times over. CMW Delegates will
be treated to a first hand account of Earle's rise to fame, fall
from grace and rise again.
"This man has done it all," says Neill Dixon, President of CMW. "From his rockabilly start, Earle has produced brilliant works in a cross-section of genres. Having paved the way for alt-country with his unique style to his more recent rockin' pieces with blues undertones, CMW delegates will get some rare insight from a master."
This event is not accessible to the general public. Select GTA radio stations will grant a limited number of contest winners passes to the event.
Registration for the 2005 CMW Executive Conference is available on-line at www.cmw.net http://www.cmw.net or by calling 905-858-4747.
