Greg Sowders

Greg Sowders began his musical career as drummer for ground breaking Los Angeles alt.country pioneers The Long Ryders in 1982. After working at BMI, Sowders went to Warner Chappell Music in 1991 as Manager of Film & T.V. He eventually moved into the A&R department and began to work with some of the most influential and successful artists of the day including The Black Crowes, Lucinda Williams, Wilco, Nickelback, Staind, Rufus Wainwright, Trapt, Puddle of Mudd, Smash Mouth , Cold and many others. He is currently the Senior Vice President of A&R and continues to manage Warner Chappell's rock and alternative roster in addition to overseeing their new urban music division.
