Jay Frank

Jay Frank currently manages artist and label relations for LAUNCH, the music destination on Yahoo!. Before the acquisition of LAUNCH Media, Inc. by Yahoo! in 2001, Frank was vice president of marketing and promotions, where he spearheaded all programming efforts for audio and video for LAUNCH. He has been responsible for procuring and managing the site's Live@LAUNCH calendar of live video and audio recordings for its "Artist of the Month" and "Emerging Artist of the Month" programs, which have boosted and launched some of the most well-received new artists and albums of the past years.

Currently, Frank manages and oversees all artist promotions with the record labels and supervises LAUNCH's audio and video programming. Over the past two years the work that Frank has done has increased Internet radio and music video user sessions more than 300%. He has developed key relationships with all the major record labels, as well as many independent labels improving LAUNCH's comprehensive music and music-related content, resulting in premieres and exclusives from artists such as Madonna, Eminem, Dixie Chicks, Nelly, Jason Mraz, Jet, Linkin Park, 50 Cent, Faith Hill, Coldplay and many more.

Prior to joining LAUNCH, Jay was senior music director at The Box Music Network, managing all daily music activity on the music video network and coordinated programming efforts that doubled Nielsen ratings during his tenure and resulted in the network's first Emmy award. He has also acted as marketing and A&R for Ignition Records, managed a live music venue, programmed broadcast radio stations and created two local music video shows.
