Jeff Schrock

Mr. Schrock brings a broad range of experience to Real where he is responsible for the company's US-focused consumer media services, focusing on driving business partnership strategy for Realís premium consumer entertainment content offerings and distribution agreements, including RealPlayer and Rhapsody distribution agreements. Mr. Schrock brings to Real, deep and broad experiences in consumer media technology and a successful record in establishing Internet businesses. Prior to joining Real, Mr. Schrock served as Vice President of Corporate Development for Yahoo!, where he drove initiatives involving Yahoo!ís extension into consumer electronics. Mr. Schrock also ran Yahoo!ís Broadcast Business Unit (formerly Broadcast.com).

Mr. Schrock was a co-founder of Activate, a successful enterprise Webcasting company and one of Seattleís earliest Internet high-tech start ups. Activate was sold to Internet holding company CMGI in 1999, and Mr. Schrock remained CEO of Activate until 2002. Coupled with his business management experience and innovative market vision, Mr. Schrock is managing the expansion of Realís content and delivery partnerships by taking advantage of the proliferation of broadband Internet access in U.S. homes. Delivery of entertainment content by means other than the PC is a substantial growth area for Real's business and is an area Mr. Schrock is working closely with.
