Jim Norris

Jim Norris is President of Norris-Whitney Communications, publishers of Canadian Musician, Canadian Music Trade, Professional Sound, Professional Lighting & Production and Music Directory Canada. Norris-Whitney also operates Music Books Plus, a distributor of books, videos, CD-ROMs and software, and provides graphic design and Internet services.

Norris studied music at University of Toronto and was a professional rock musician for 7 years. He has been involved in magazine publishing for 28 years and during the last 26 at Norris-Whitney has served as publisher and, at times, editor.
