Kipper McGee

Kipper McGee has programmed some of America's most successful broadcast properties, including Orlando's top-rated News-Talk station, WDBO. In a career spanning over 20 years, he has lead winning stations with formats ranging from Contemporary Hit Radio, Adult Contemporary, Country, Oldies and Talk -- and markets including Milwaukee, New Orleans, San Diego and St. Louis. For three years he also served as General Manager for the legendary KIOA AM & FM in Des Moines, Iowa. In 2004, he was nominated News/Talk Program Director of the Year by the readers of Radio & Records, and WDBO was nominated News/Talk station of the year.

He's a frequent speaker and panelist at key broadcasting industry events. Recently, he's spoken at the Radio & Records Talk Radio Seminar in Washington DC, PROMAXX - the professional broadcast marketer's convention, the Iowa Broadcasters Association, the Conclave in Minneapolis, and other industry events including Morning Show Boot Camp, the Rick Scott Sports Radio Seminar the National Association of Broadcasters Convention. His comments, columns and articles have appeared in such publications as Radio & Records, Talkers Magazine, Radio Ink and Programmers Digest".

Now Kipper brings his expertise to the marketplace through his own consulting practice, which proudly counts Talk Radio Networks among his charter clients, as he strives to spread the gospel of "Promoting better radio by promoting radio better".
