Peter Kafka

Peter Kafka has been a Staff Writer at Forbes since April 2000. He joined the magazine as a Reporter in September 1997. He covers the entertainment industry and other topics, and is a regular contributor to the annual Forbes 400 issue and edits the annual "Celebrity" issue.

Previously, Mr. Kafka was a Staff Reporter at City Business, a weekly business journal in Minneapolis, from 1995 to 1997, and a Staff Writer at the Minnesota Real Estate Journal, from 1993 to 1995. He has also done freelance writing for Minneapolis' City Pages, the Minnesota Corporate Report, The Milwaukee Journal and The Milwaukee Sentinel. He won First Place, Business Feature, from the Minnesota Society of Professional Journalists in 1996, and he was named runner-up, Best Profile by the 1995 Area Association of Business Publications.

Mr. Kafka has a B.A. in History and Journalism from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
