Ron Burman

Roadrunner Records is proud to announce the promotion of Ron Burman to Senior Vice President of A&R. He has made it his mission to expand the Roadrunner roster with great mainstream rock artists and has met with great success in doing so.

Burman comments, " I am thrilled about the promotion and feel very fortunate to be part of this amazing team, of passionate music professionals at Roadrunner Records". In a climate where there seems to be less emphasis on music and more on the bottom line, it feels like Roadrunner is quite an anomaly in the record business".

Prior to his current 7-year tenure with Roadrunner Records, Burman worked for the CMJ Music Marathon, where he booked acts such as Rammstein, Limp Bizkit, NIN, Marilyn Manson, and The Crystal Method. He also worked for the Associated Booking Corp. as the Southeast agent, responsible for booking acts such as B.B. King, Albert King, The Wailers Band, Yellow Man, Black Uhuru, and Bobby Blue Bland. He was also CEO of Stretch Management where he managed the band Alice Donut and other NYC punk rock bands.

Burman was promoted from his previous position as Vice President of A&R where he developed the International multi-platinum selling band, Nickelback.
