Tonni Maruyama

Tonni began her career in the music business in record retail in Edmonton, Alberta, working her way up from part time to store manager. From there she relocated to Vancouver where she worked with Nettwerk records for 8 years. A move to Toronto and a 2 year stint at Sony Music lead to a move to A&M and from there Tonni established the Canadian office in Toronto for the uber indie Epitaph Records, where she remains today. Tonni is a long time supporter and staunch believer in the power of the indies to discover, develop and break artists and is proud to be part of an indie scene that continues to surprise and thrive in a unpredictable business climate.
